In July, Portugal feels like an exhale; warm air, long light, the ocean never far away. For this yoga intensive retreat, we’ll gather for a week of steady practice and soft reset: moving, breathing, sweating, unwinding, and coming back to what’s simple and true in you.
Our days are shaped by a rhythm that supports depth without pressure. Ashtanga offers structure and clarity; an anchor for focus, commitment, and inner strength. Vinyasa brings creativity and flow, inviting you to explore movement as a conversation with breath. When your body asks for something gentler, Easy Flow keeps you moving with ease and steadiness, without losing the thread of presence. And as the day winds down, Yin opens space; slow, quiet, and deeply nourishing so your nervous system can soften and your body can release what it’s been holding.
Meditation threads through it all: not as an extra, but as the center of the retreat. Short moments of stillness, longer sits, simple practices you can take home, tools to meet your mind with more steadiness, and your life with more room.
Come as you are: devoted practitioner, curious mover, tired human needing a reset. This retreat is an invitation to practice sincerely, rest deeply, and leave Portugal feeling clearer, stronger in your body, quieter in your head, and more at home in yourself.

For the past 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of organizing 21 retreats and every time, I’m reminded of the same thing: people don’t only come to deepen their practice, they come to breathe again. To step out of the daily hustle, the constant doing, the stress that sits in the shoulders and follows you into bed. A retreat is where you remember how it feels to have space.
This week in Portugal is a yoga intensive retreat, which means there’s a rich program: Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Easy Flow, Yin, and meditation, often up to three practices offered per day. And at the same time, this is not a retreat about pushing. Nothing is obligated. You choose your rhythm.
Some people love doing it all: morning Ashtanga, a gentle midday flow, an energizing Vinyasa and evening Yin and meditation. Others come for one daily class, sometimes only a nourishing Yin practice, and spend the rest of the day resting, reading, swimming, or simply being. Both ways are welcome. You can practice as much as you want, and you can rest as much as you need.
We’ll be staying at a fully equipped retreat center with a beautiful, spacious shala, basic and clean rooms, and a swimming pool for slow afternoons. And when you feel like a change of scenery, the ocean is close at just a 10-minute drive away. The retreat center is located in Aljezur, in the charming Costa Vicentina where the sun is present for at least 300 days of the year. A quiet and cozy place, in the midst of nature, close to Vale Figueiras Beach and a few minutes from the village of Aljezur and several other beaches.
Food is part of the support too: healthy, home-cooked meals, prepared with real care for body and mind. It’s full pension, vegetarian, and always with vegan options; colourful, nourishing, and grounding.
Midway through the week, we take a break day: we’ll do a morning practice and breakfast, and then the day is yours. Go explore Portugal, head out for a hike, plan a beach day, wander through a village, or do absolutely nothing at all. If you’d rather stay at the center, you can since there’s access to the kitchen and plenty of space to keep it quiet.
If life has felt like a constant stream of messages, deadlines, noise, and responsibilities, this retreat is your pause button. A week where the body can move, the mind can soften, and you get to remember what it’s like to live at a different pace; supported, held, and free to choose.
I hope to meet you there.
Namas-té,
Ine

"Ine’s retreats make you pause and they get you moving. Not really searching for anything, I found so much during the yoga retreat in Morocco: pure rest, an easy, unforced sense of togetherness, and of course the wonderfully nourishing effect of so much yoga. The trip lingered for a long time afterwards and left me wanting more. The fact that I’m now looking forward to my sixth yoga retreat with Ine says enough."

We begin each day in silence, and we start speaking again after the first class.
On the free day, only breakfast is provided.

"The yoga retreat with Ine in Mallorca was a truly beautiful and unique experience. Calming, yet even more so energizing, with a wonderful group of people in an even more wonderful place. Ine is a very attentive teacher who makes you feel safe and welcome, every single day. There was always enough time and a listening ear for questions and conversations about yoga, but also about life itself. On top of that, the food and the care for this lovely group of people were amazing. Everything was fresh and homemade; good for both body and soul. If I could, I would join every single time."

“For the past three years, I’ve joined Ine’s annual retreat. A full week of resting, eating healthy, stretching your body and getting stronger, t’s something I look back on with so much warmth for months afterwards, and something I really look forward to in the months leading up to it. The first time I joined, I felt nervous about being in a new group. And even though I’m not really a ‘group person,’ I immediately felt at home. That definitely has to do with the freedom you have throughout the trip to do whatever you feel like, at any moment. If you feel like skipping a class and staying by the pool a little longer, no one will give you strange looks. If you prefer sleeping in, or you decide to read alone or rest for a while; it’s all possible. The atmosphere is relaxed, the classes are approachable, and the food is healthy and delicious. Ine always chooses a pleasant, spacious house in a quiet location, surrounded by beautiful nature. Her classes are professional and adapted to every level. Before and after class, you can always go to Ine with any questions about your practice. A huge recommendation for anyone who wants to grow stronger, both physically and mentally, for a week, in a truly blissful setting.”
