This workshop guides practitioners in exploring simple, practical ways to support and regulate the nervous system through breath, movement, rest, and awareness. While rooted in the context of practice, it is not only for Ashtanga practitioners, but for anyone who wishes to develop a more balanced, supportive, and sustainable relationship with their body and mind.
Together we’ll explore how the body responds to stress and recovery, with gentle insight informed by both yoga and osteopathic understanding. The session will include grounding breathwork, supportive movement, deeply restful postures, and guided relaxation practices designed to help cultivate balance, resilience, and a greater sense of ease in both practice and daily life.
Robin Ward is an Authorised Level 2 Ashtanga Yoga teacher who has been practising for over 16 years and studying in Mysore, India under Sharath Jois since 2012. She has taught internationally across Europe, Asia, South Africa and the Middle East.
Alongside teaching, Robin is a 4th year osteopathy student in the UK, as well as a dry needler and acupuncturist. Her work bridges traditional Ashtanga practice with anatomical understanding, breathwork and nervous system support.
Robin and her brother Ethan Ward have shared the practice journey for many years, travelling and studying together in Mysore.
Robin will be staying with us again from July 5 until August 6 to guide our Mysore program.
