Meet Yuki, a devoted Ashtanga yoga practitioner and teacher, nature lover, and spiritual explorer.
Yuki’s journey is one of curiosity, courage, and deep commitment. Originally from Japan, she holds a BA in English Literature and a Master’s degree in International Journalism from a university in Scotland.
Her path to yoga began during her undergraduate years, when she first stepped onto the mat. That spark soon turned into a steady flame as she discovered Ashtanga yoga. Drawn to its discipline and depth, she left her full-time job to travel to India and study at KPJAYI (now Sharath Yoga Centre). After several years of dedicated practice and annual pilgrimages to Mysore, she received her Level 2 Authorization from her teacher, Sharath Jois, in 2019.
For Yuki, yoga is a sacred daily ritual—a way to connect, ground, and grow. It offers her a steady rhythm in a fast-paced world, helping her cultivate clarity and inner strength. She also finds nourishment in chanting, meditation, time in nature, and the quiet presence of animals.
Her mission? To hold a nurturing space where others can experience the transformative wisdom of yoga—one breath, one practice, one moment at a time
