Join us for a rich and inspiring day of practice, self-inquiry, and deepened understanding. We begin with a Mysore-style practice, followed by a backbending workshop that explores the spine as the energetic and structural center of the body. After a shared lunch break, Ramiro will offer a philosophical talk to nourish your mind as your body rests and digests. The day concludes with an Asana Clinic that builds on the earlier session, offering detailed refinement and anatomical insight into the postures.
Whether you attend the full day or only join for the afternoon, you'll leave with tools to support both your practice and your teaching. However, if you can join us for the whole day, the afternoon clinic will naturally build on the foundations explored in the morning.
An open self-practice space in the traditional Mysore-style format. Ramiro offers individual guidance, hands-on adjustments, and personal feedback tailored to where you are in your Ashtanga journey — whether you're new to the method or working with more advanced sequences.
The spine is the axis of our physical body and contains our central nervous system. When we practice asana what are doing, ultimately, is no other thing that work around the spinal cord stretching it, bending it or twisting it and that consequently results in the stimulation of our nervous system and the awakening of the subtle channels to which it is associated. In this workshop, we will seek to understand our spine since its origins to take on the execution of different asanas with an efficient a conscious use of our anatomy so that the practice of Yoga can be a vehicle for healing our body and our mind promoting a healthy nervous system.
A reflective talk to nourish the mind and inspire your path, perfect for the slower rhythm of the post-lunch hour.
In this talk, we will explore the Nirvana Shatakam and the teachings of Adi Shankaracharya. This philosophical hymn invites us to transcend the limitations of the ego and social roles in order to recognize the essence of who we truly are. Through its verses, we are confronted with a radical question: Who am I when I no longer identify with the body, thoughts, emotions, or even my personal story?
This workshop offers a focused exploration of the foundational postures within the Ashtanga Vinyasa system. Through detailed examination, we will investigate the underlying anatomical principles that inform proper alignment and stability in each asana. The session will break down the precise steps for entering and exiting postures, emphasizing mindful transitions. A key component will be understanding the traditional vinyasa count associated with each movement, fostering a deeper connection between breath and action. We will also consider practical variations to accommodate different physical considerations and levels of experience. Furthermore, the role of drishti, or focused gaze, will be explored as a tool for cultivating concentration and internal awareness within the practice.
