Have you ever opened a book on yoga philosophy, only to close it again a few pages later?
Maybe the subject intrigues you, but you are not quite sure where to begin. Or perhaps you are simply curious about what yoga really means beyond the physical practice.
In this accessible workshop, Ine will introduce you to some of the foundations of yoga philosophy in a way that is practical, relatable and connected to everyday life.
Because yoga extends far beyond the āsanas we practise on the mat. In Patañjali’s eight-limbed path, āsana is only one part of a much broader system concerned with how we live, how we relate to ourselves and others, how we work with the mind, and ultimately how we come to see ourselves and life more clearly.
Yoga philosophy is not meant to remain theory. Its teachings were developed to be practised, questioned, reflected upon and experienced.
During this workshop, we will explore some of these foundational ideas together and look at how they can become relevant in your own life. There will be space for explanation and conversation, but also for personal reflection and simple exercises that invite you to look inward.
The intention is not to cover everything in a few hours, but to give you a clear and approachable starting point, together with some tools that can help you continue exploring yoga philosophy on your own.
No previous knowledge or experience is required. Just bring a pen, a notebook and your curiosity.
You are very welcome.
"The study and practice of yoga philosophy has given me inspiration, perspective, comfort and, at times, something steady to return to. For me, these teachings are not about having all the answers, but about continuing to look, question and become more aware."
