A journey of a thousand steps still begins with the first step, but doesn’t end there. If you have already made that first step to becoming a Yoga teacher with a 200-hour training, then perhaps it’s time to continue on a more challenging path. The path of Yoga is life-long with many fascinating aspects, and to become an authentic teacher of Yoga takes a profound level of commitment and study. The purpose of this Advanced TT is to help guide you from being merely certified to qualified. Ine and Robert seek to assist you in this transition with their experience and dedication to the in-depth study and practice of Yoga from the theory to praxis.
This course is for you when you:
· Already have a minimum of 200-hour certification
· Are genuinely devoted to the practice of teaching Yoga
· Are able to prioritize your attendance for a concentrated period of time
· Understand that becoming a good Yoga Teacher will not happen overnight and see the benefit of educating yourself is an investment over time
· Are genuinely open to receiving critical feedback
· Are capable of doing some required reading before the training
· Have an open mind and eagerness to learn
· Understand English
· Have a committed yoga practice, however, you don’t have to be an advanced asana practitioner to participate
Pre-quisites:
· Read material beforehand
. A 200-hour teacher training course is required however it does not have to be from Yoga Alliance or Antwerp Yoga.
This training is a 60 hour YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continues education Program)

Your lead teachers: Robert and Ine
Robert Fulton (US), PhD is a Professor of Humanities and certified Yoga instructor (E-RYT200) and has been practicing Yoga for 25 years. He has taught languages, Literature and Philosophy at UT-Austin (Texas), L’Università di Bologna Italy, Vikaasa WorldSchool in Madurai, India and the Universiteit Antwerpen, where he was a Fulbright visiting professor and has given lectures for the Indology Department at the University of Ghent on Sanskrit and Yoga Philosophy. Recently he was a guest professor in Sanskrit and Vedãnta philosophy at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM and currently teaches a variety of college Humanities courses in Texas. Robert is a graduate of the Antwerp Yoga TT (2015) and co-taught with Elsie Mathijssens in the AYTT for several years, and has continued to be a part of the AYTT when in Belgium, teaching Philosophy and Sanskrit.
Ine Maes (BE) is a yoga teacher, author and holistic coach. She has been practicing yoga since 1998. After many years of dedicated practice, she achieved her first certification in 2010. Since then she has completed several other trainings. Ine has a daily practice of Ashtanga, Yin Yoga and meditation. She has been teaching group classes for 25 years and is also the lead teacher of the Antwerp Yoga Teacher Training and our Studio Manager. Her mission is to share the peace and freedom that she has found through her own practice with her students. She has led multiple yoga courses, retreats and teacher trainings over the years. She believes that yoga can be a powerful tool for self-discovery, healing and transformation. She emphasizes the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment for students to explore their practice. In addition to teaching yoga, Ine is also an author. She has written several books on yoga, meditation and holistic coaching. She also gives workshops and lectures on holistic health and wellness. Ine is committed to helping others to prioritize their own health and wellbeing. She believes that yoga can be a profound tool to bring meaning and joy into one's life. Her goal is to help empower others to find their own inner peace and freedom.
