Intro To Yoga is a workshop especially for beginners and people with limited experience! If you have never stood on a yoga mat or you are at the beginning of your yoga journey, than this workshop is a wonderful start! You discover at your own pace what yoga entails.
What does "yoga" mean, and where does it come from? How is related to breathing? How do you place your hands and feet in the basic poses? Do you need to be 'flexible' to practice yoga? And, why do we chant OM at the beginning of the class?
Intro To Yoga is breathing, listening, moving, discovering and enjoying! See you on the mat!
Extra: to bring along: clothing in which you can easily move, towel and pen/paper for those things you would like to write down.

Being happy for Goele is movement, flow and bringing people together.
Movement has always been a part of her life. As a child and teenager she was never far from the dance floor and when she was sixteen she began to give dance lessons. Teaching turned out to second nature for her and dance lessons later became yoga lessons.
After years of practicing nearly every day on the yoga mat, she wanted to share her love for Yoga. Goele gained experience at AntwerpYoga, in the lessons, workshops and intensive courses. She did her teacher training at SvahaYoga and in India.
Today, Goele's yoga lessons are well-constructed flows with attention to breathing, the physical possibilities of each individual and a touch of spirituality. Goele makes sure that there are challenges for the more experienced yogis and options for beginners so that everyone in the class can step back out into the world with a good feeling!
