This workshop is for everybody who wants to deepen their Ashtanga practice. Perfect for all levels, but some experience with Ashtanga yoga is recommended.
We start with sharing our “ why”. Why do we practice? Remembering the fruits of our practice brings joy and discipine to return frequently to our mat.
As a warm-up we surrender to some hipopeners to learn to relax and release the hips. The introspective mindset, as well as the qualities of patience and kindness will set the tone for the rest of the workshop.
Further on we will discuss the importance of the Tristana Method. Exploring the inter-connectedness between breath, movement (vinyasa) bandha’s and drishti. From there we will break down some key postures from the primary series and take the time to experience the posture more in detail.
The aim is to explore movement from a place of inner-connection, awareness and ease. Whether you are new to the practice or already a longtime practioner you will find new insights to move with grace and finetune your practice.
