Introduction to Sanskrit via Yoga postures with Robert Fulton

In this informal, introductory class, we will dive into the world of Sanskrit via Yoga postures.
We will learn the basics of the alphabet, pronunciation and Devanagari script, as well as then going through the major asanas and mantras that you often hear in your yoga practice. As such, we’ll bring to life the special addition that Sanskrit can provide within your practice, whether as a teacher or a student.
Yoga is a layering of many levels, and this basic knowledge of Sanskrit as it is used in Yoga will add a new depth to your on and off the mat experience.
No prior knowledge of Sanskrit is necessary, but feel free to bring in questions that you may have, but are hesitant to ask in a class.
